Answer to question 1.
We cleaned up to 78 percent of all of the crude oil

Answer to question 2.
Laundry soap was the best material to contain our oil spill. Because since it was much denser than the oil, it made the oil stay into one place permanently with out it going any where else.

Answer to question 3.
The paper towels was our best material to absorb our oil spill. It worked the best because the oil was more dense than the water making it easy for the paper towel to absorb a lot of the oil with out getting much of the water.

Answer to question 4.
The spoon was the least effective of all of our materials. Because it just helped to push the oil to one side but the oil would just go right back to where it started, making the spoon not effective at all.

Answer to question 5.
I think oil plotting sheets would be very effective because they would just do what the paper towels did but better. For example the potting sheets are used to get the oil off of a women's face without taking any moisture off of her face. This would make our experiment very successful because it could take all the oil without taking the water.

Answer to question 6.
Our procedure could work on a larger scale if you had enough people with paper towels to absorb the oil. For example putting the soap in first to contain it against the shore, then paper towels would be used to absorb the oil.
